This is a continuation of the Emma Stone/Zombieland post…
Of course I had to get the jacket!!!
I also wanted something reasonable. I don’t have a lot of money to spend, so I did some research. Surprisingly my search ended at Express of all places! I found this great faux leather jacket that was tough but cute at the same time:
I actually removed the belt to make it look a little less cute. This jacket was originally $98.00, but I was lucky enough to catch a 30% Off Storewide Clearance and snatched this jacket for $60.00!!!
And, I know some of you were wondering about the boots I got from Charlotte Russe:
Well I LOVE THEM! They are SO comfortable and jazz up any outfit. I hope Charlotte Russe gets some more in, because I highly recommend them! Let me know if you have found any other bargain boots that turned out surprisingly well!
So, to complete this look, I HAD to get some V-Neck t-shirts…
Which fortunately Forever 21 also had SUPER CHEAP!
I got these in pretty much every color (including the heathered and solid colors) all for $3.50-$4.50!
While I was in Forever 21, I found another great jacket that I just couldn’t pass up. And fortunately I have a pair of brown leather boots with a chunky heel that go absolutely great with it.
I got this awesome faux leather jacket for $34.80!
Hi everyone!! It’s been awhile but I just HAD to talk about how amazing Emma Stone’s boots are in Zombieland!! I just saw the movie yesterday and loved it, and all day today all I can think about is how much I WANT THOSE BOOTS!!!
Sooo….here’s the hunt for an afforable pair for myself
Madden Girl Ivorry Wedge Boot
found at DSW for $59.95
close…but not quite…
Merona Kallista Riding Boots
found at Target for $39.99
Now these are better…
Crinkle Flat Boots
found at Charlotte Russe for $34.99
I think I like these the best!!
What do you think? Let me know!!
UPDATE
So I was just informed by a reader that Charlotte Russe has sold out of the Crinkle Flat Boots as of today. Fortunately I ordered my pair last night (my size was the only one left) and I am anxiously waiting their arrival at my doorstep!!! But for those of you who are still looking for that great ‘Wichita’ boot, I’ve got some more additions…
I’ll start off with the more expensive ones and work my way down to a more affordable price range…
Unisa Riri Boot
found at Piperlime.com for $99
It’s ok…but I’m not excited.
Aerosoles Ride Line
found at Piperlime.com for $89
I must say I’m very impressed with Aerosoles…didn’t think they had it in them to make a boot like this! It definitely has more hardware than Emma Stone’s but they’re still a very close match.
Chaps Caleigh Tall Boots, Kohls
originally $99.99, ON SALE FOR $69.99
Now these are a good match! A litte more expensive than the ones at Charlotte Russe, but I think it’s still a pretty good deal!!
Every girl needs some basic but stylish flip flops. Don’t get me wrong, I love my heels and wear them every day. But, there are the occasional moments where you’ll be walking a lot or you just need to run out of the house, and high heels just aren’t the best idea. For those cases, here are some fantastic deals from Old Navy. They’re super cute too!!

I decided to browse through The Costume Institute’s website and found some really awesome pieces in their permanent collection. Unfortunately I only found 2 pictures of shoes, but I also found a gorgeous dress that I just had to post. You should definitely check out the website, they have some really great pieces.

I can’t even wait for Season 6 to come out this summer!! I was pretty disappointed with the talent on Season 5, and don’t even get me started on how annoying Kenley was….Of course in the end, Leanne won, and she was my favorite, so all was good again
What are you most looking forward to for the next season of Project Runway?
